Over the last 18 years, he’s focused on building Thumbtack to become the one app you need to care for your home while helping service professionals grow their businesses. Marco and his family live in San Francisco.

Chief Commercial Officer
Mark leads Thumbtack’s Sales, Service, Operations, Partnerships, and Business Development teams. He believes strongly in making the pro experience on Thumbtack better and easier, so that pros can focus on growing their businesses and getting jobs done well. He lives in the Boston area with his wife and daughter.

Message for fellow pros: Thumbtack is not a turn-it-on-and-forget-about-it type of marketing resource. You need to respond to leads ASAP and monitor your pricing. If you’re not getting enough leads, bump up the price. Too many leads? Knock it down. That’s one of the great things about Thumbtack: you can control your spend to suit your schedule and needs. Monitor your categories, too. Not every market is the same, so something that works great in one market might not be ideal for yours. Stay on top of it and manage it.
